Calling names, hygiene, and other grooming matters

(on the good use of bookmarks).

Introduction:

While bookmarks are of widespread use, there is little common wisdom about how to use them and manage the collections that accumulate over time.
As often, common wisdom proves badly flawed when applied to specialties, and efficient use of BMs is one.

Most people use insta-BMs, many do create their own BMs, and everyone and his mother comes up with their peculiar naming conventions for easy use of BMs.
Obviously I contend my own naming scheme is teh bomb, or I wouldn't bother trying to propagate it, but its validity ties in with the way I use BMs, so I'll start there...
